Demarquo Lastrappe
BFSA Communications & Outreach Director
Demarquo is a native of Seattle, Washington. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from Prairie View A&M University where he also played division 1 football for 4 years and became a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and Phi Beta Lambda Business Organization. He continued his academic journey at Prairie View where he also received a master’s in business administration. Demarquo has served students at Baylor University since 2022. In his role as a Residence Hall Director for Campus Living and Learning, he oversees 9 Community Leaders and 10 Office Assistants which he supervises in the work of community building, student development, and basic operations of Martin Hall. He also serves as the advisor for the Black Student Union and Country Dance Club here on Baylor's campus. In his free time, he likes to make music, read, play video games, and hang out with friends.
