Mother-Friendly Worksite
Baylor University offers benefits and resources that provide a “Mother-Friendly” worksite for its breastfeeding employees. Some of those resources include:
- Designated Nursing Mother Rooms as identified on the campus map that provide private spaces outside of restroom areas for expression of milk (designated rooms are marked with signage to easily identify spaces)
- Places to properly store expressed milk
- Reasonable break times
Additionally, employees may review the University’s updated Lactation Accommodation Policy and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA) Policy for additional information on the University’s support.
Campus Nursing Mother Room Locations
The following buildings have been identified as having space designated for Nursing Mothers. These may update from time to time. Use the Nursing Mother Room Campus Map for room number and location as well as an updated list. Please note that some Nursing Mother Rooms are designated for Baylor faculty, staff, and students only.
