Spiritual Wellbeing Leave

August 9, 2024

Don’t forget to use your Spiritual Wellbeing Leave before August 31, 2024. As part of Baylor’s campuswide Spiritual Wellbeing initiative, all eligible Baylor staff received 8 hours per year of time off dedicated to use for purposes of Spiritual Wellbeing. We encourage everyone to utilize this time prior to end of August.

Spiritual Wellbeing results from our communion with God and greatly supports our mental health. Baylor University encourages staff to use this benefit to further these endeavors in a way that is most meaningful to you personally. You can find more information about Spiritual Wellbeing Leave at this webpage. We would love to hear about your experience utilizing Spiritual Wellbeing Leave.  Please contact Human Resources at Human_Resources@baylor.edu to share your story.

Mass at Church of the Visitation

"I used my Spiritual Wellbeing day to take the opportunity to attend daily Mass at the Church of the Visitation in Westphalia with my two boys. It was a special chance for the boys to get to sit up front and because there weren't many people there, it felt intimate and as if Mass was made just for us. I'm thankful for the Spiritual Wellbeing time I was given to be intentional and created this special moment for me and my family."
