Grow@BU Professional Development Initiative

Baylor HR recently announced the launch of the Grow@BU Professional Development Initiative in support of the University’s core commitments to “Seek Learning and Apply Knowledge” and “Pursue Excellence Through Continual Improvement". Managers and leaders are invited to review details about the initiative and requirements for completion by visiting the initiative’s new webpage

The purpose of the initiative is to foster a deeper culture of continual learning and professional development and provides employees with relevant and engaging opportunities for self-improvement, expanded knowledge and skills, and enhanced opportunities for future growth. While Grow@BU provides a roadmap for employee’s seeking a deeper professional development experience, it may also be used as a tool for managers considering options for career development for themselves, their teams, and direct reports. 

There is no time limit for completion, and participation is voluntary. However, completion requires a commitment by participants to their professional development. Staff and faculty who complete the Grow@BU requirements will be acknowledged through special recognition and incentives.
