Why Vanguard
Vanguard features small class sizes where students get individualized attention. They instill time management, organization skills, and study habits in their students, which benefit them for the rest of their lives. Not only do we offer students in grades 6-12 a full slate of academics, fine arts, sports, and extracurricular activities, but we also teach responsibility, rigor, and respect. Vanguard's SAT scores are 27% higher than the state average and the school has produced over 53 National Merit Finalists in the past 21 years. Annalynn Davis
Annalynn is the daughter of Jonathan and Stephanie Davis and one of four sisters living in China Spring. Her mother, Stephanie, is a Financial Administrator for Enrollment Management at Baylor University, where she has worked for over a year and values the university's positive culture and meaningful work. Her father, Jonathan, is the Senior Regional Vice President for Best Sanitizers.
An avid reader, Annalynn particularly enjoys historical nonfiction. She is currently learning to play the piano, plans to join the Viking cheer team, and enjoys playing both volleyball and basketball. She is excited about the academic challenges and wide variety of clubs that Vanguard offers. Annalynn and her family are thrilled and thankful for this great opportunity.
