Same Day Travel
AS A DRIVER...
Time spent driving a car for work inside OR outside the normal workday hours should be paid.
8:00am - 12:00pm | 12:00pm - 1:00pm | 1:00pm - 5:00pm | 5:00pm - 7:00pm |

AS A PASSENGER...
Time spent riding as a passenger in a care INSIDE the normal workday hours should be paid. Time spent riding as a passenger OUTSIDE the normal workday hours does not have to be paid, unless the passenger is actively working while riding.

Overnight Travel
Time spent traveling OUTSIDE of typical working hours as a passenger on an airplane, train, bus, or car should not be paid.

Additional Reminders
- Same Day Travel: Normal commute times to and/or from the office or place of work are not paid.
- Same Day Travel: Meal breaks are not paid unless the employee is actively working through the meal period.
- Overnight Travel: If work is being performed while traveling or the employee has to drive, this time should be paid.
