Geoffrey Griggs
BFSA Immediate Past President
Born in Louisville, Kentucky, Geoffrey Griggs continues to have the honor and privilege of serving as the Assistant Director of Multicultural Affairs at Baylor University since the Fall of 2013. Prior to that, he spent 2 years working at his alma mater, the University of Kentucky, in their Martin Luther King Cultural Center. At the University of Kentucky, he received his first Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, his second Bachelor’s Degree in Community Communications and Leadership Development, and his Masters in Public Administration from the Martin School on Public Policy with a concentration in Higher Education. Currently, he completed his dissertation for the Doctorate of Educational Leadership Program at Tarleton State University. In addition to this, he is a proud husband, father, a Trustee at Greater New Light Missionary Baptist Church, and a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated. Geoffrey would like to thank Student Affairs for giving him the opportunity to pour into others similarly to how others poured into him. As he continues to keep students first, he realizes that everything else will work itself out. To God be the glory!
