Ryan Reed

Ryan is a Waco native and has more than 11 years of professional experience in business education and corporate finance. A 2006 graduate of Midway High School, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of North Texas and his MBA (minor in Accounting) from Texas A&M University-Commerce. Currently, Ryan is in his second stint at Baylor University previously serving as the financial manager in the Honors College before moving to Dallas, Texas. He then returned to Baylor University in March of 2022 as the business officer in the Office of the Vice Provost of Research. He currently holds the position of business officer in the Hankamer School of Business. Ryan is also a member of the search committee for the next chief business officer at Baylor University and chairs the interview committee for the "Business Transformation" initiative. Ryan enjoys networking with students outside of his professional role and coaches the men’s club basketball team.
