UPCOMING: Staff Performance Review and Goals
The 2021 staff performance review process will open March 1, 2021. There are two steps staff members can take right now to begin preparing. If you manage staff, please also refer to the manager's section at the bottom of this message for important information.
- Entering 2020 goals into Ignite (optional): If you and your manager created goals for 2020, you can enter those goals you have already been tracking into Ignite in order to have them included on the appraisal document. This is not required, but is an available option if you have already been tracking formal goals over the past year. You can find a job aid for entering goals in Ignite by clicking here: Entering and Updating Performance Goals. After you enter, update and mark goals as complete in Ignite, your manager must approve the goals in Ignite before the goal is available in the performance review system. If you plan to record goals in the system for this review process, please ensure that you do so no later than February 28, 2021.
- Compile information for your self-evaluation. Staff will have from March 1 – March 12 to enter and submit a self-evaluation in Ignite. If you would like to get a head start, you can begin organizing your thoughts for ease of copy and paste using this template.
