Baylor University is proud to announce that in addition to the Black Faculty & Staff Association and the Latinx Faculty & Staff Association there are two new Employee Resource Groups joining the Baylor Family.  We now have the Jewish Faculty & Staff Association and the Baylor Military-Connected Faculty & Staff Association.  Below you can read more about these new ERGs and this year's fall welcome messages.

Jewish Faculty and Staff Association

Shalom! The Jewish Faculty and Staff Association (JFSA) exists to support, recruit, and retain Jewish faculty, staff, and graduate students at Baylor University. We wish to create a strong Jewish community and serve as a resource for the university community. Anyone interested in joining should email David Jortner at David_Jortner@Baylor.edu.

Baylor Military-Connected Faculty and Staff Association

Introducing the Baylor Military-Connected Faculty and Staff Association!

We're thrilled to announce the launch of the Baylor Military-Connected Faculty and Staff Association (MCFSA). We aim to cultivate a welcoming and supportive community for military veterans (active, guard, reserve, and retired), military-connected family members, caregivers, and supporters among Baylor’s faculty and staff.

We're here to raise awareness of the unique contributions and experiences of our faculty and staff who have ties to the military, and dedicated to enhancing opportunities for recruitment, professional growth, and career advancement for this population.  Please email Kevin_Davis1@baylor.edu for more information.

Black Faculty and Staff Association

Welcome (and welcome back) from the Black Faculty and Staff Association!

Since January 2018, BFSA has remained committed to the personal and professional development and advancement of Black faculty and staff members with special attention toward the recruitment and retention of Black faculty, staff, and students at Baylor.

We hope you can join us for our annual Fall Kickoff as we celebrate the start of a new academic year. This year’s kickoff will be held Wednesday, September 13 from 3:30pm – 5:00pm at the Martin Museum of Art and will include a reception and guided tour of the current exhibit, Narrative as Reality : Constructing an Identity. We welcome all current and potential BFSA members and supporters to join us for a moment of fun and fellowship!

Latinx Faculty and Staff Association

The Latinx Faculty and Staff Association is excited to be kicking off our second year! The purpose of LFSA is to:

• Connect faculty and staff with opportunities across the Baylor and Waco community that enrich their professional experience
• Advocate on behalf of Latinx faculty and staff to Baylor leadership when concerns align with the Association’s Mission
• Promote the visibility and inclusion of Baylor’s growing Latinx community across the university
• Provide consistent opportunities for the Baylor Latinx faculty and staff to foster community

Our executive board has been working hard to plan a year full of community centered events and opportunities to showcase our amazing faculty and staff. Our first business meeting will be happening on Wednesday, September 6^th from 11:00am-1:00pm in Penland Dining Hall Conference Room.
