Biweekly Timecard Reminders
If you manage Biweekly (hourly) staff or students the following activities are required…
- Monitor and approve employee timecards at the end of each biweekly pay period. There are 2 tools in Ignite recommended for reviewing timecards—Team Time Cards, and Hours Monitor Report. Monitor Timecards for my Team
- Approve absence requests (i.e. vacation, sick) timely. Biweekly employees who are eligible to take leave, do not receive pay for absence hours until approved.
- Be aware of upcoming payroll dates. Pay period dates as well as timecard submission and approval deadlines are posted on the Payroll website calendar If you are temporarily unavailable to approve timecards, please establish an approval delegate in Ignite.
